Spiced Avocado Oil Corn Ribs

A smoky, finger-licking side dish perfect for Dad’s BBQ feast!

Product Used

Extra Virgin Avocado Oil

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh corn cobs, husked

  • 3 tbsp Grove Extra Virgin Avocado Oil

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional, for heat)

  • Sea salt & cracked black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

  • Grated parmesan or crumbled feta (optional, for serving)

Method

1) Prep the corn: Carefully cut each cob into quarters lengthwise to create “corn ribs.” (Tip: use a sharp knife and steady pressure).

2) Season: In a large bowl, whisk Grove Avocado Oil with smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Toss corn ribs until evenly coated.

3) Grill: Heat the BBQ to medium-high. Grill corn ribs for 10–12 minutes, turning often, until lightly charred and curled into rib shapes.
Alternative: Roast in a 200°C / 400°F oven for 20 minutes.

4) Serve: Sprinkle with parsley and cheese if desired. Serve hot alongside your favorite BBQ meat and enjoy!
