Avocanana Bread

Extra Virgin Avocado Oil


  • ⅓ cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup avocado oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 ripe, seeded avocado
  • 2 very ripe bananas
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup buttermilk


  • Line a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan with nonstick foil and lightly grease the bottom only.
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Cream together avocado, avocado oil and brown sugar with an electric mixer.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in bananas, walnuts and buttermilk.
  • Pour into prepared loaf tin and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
