Quick Korean Beef Bulgogi

Extra Virgin Avocado Oil


  • 5 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tbs mirin
  • ΒΌ cup chopped spring onion
  • 2 tbs white sugar
  • 2 tbs crushed garlic
  • 2 tbs sesame seeds
  • 2 tbs avocado oil
  • 500g flank steak, thinly sliced
  • Rice, to serve
  • Capsicum, thinly sliced (optional)


  1. Whisk soy sauce, mirin, spring onion, sugar, garlic, sesame seeds, avocado oil in a bowl and season with pepper.
  2. Place flank steak slices in a shallow dish. Pour over the marinade, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Preheat a grill pan or barbecue grill over high heat and lightly oil the grill with avocado oil.
  4. Cook the steak slices for 1-2 mins each side until slightly charred and cooked through.
  5. Serve with rice and some stir-capsicum (optional). Enjoy!
